Budding designers sometimes have a new story to tell. Take 26-year old Abhishek Dutta from Kolkata, for instance, who made his debut at Fashion Week. A student of science, Dutta once aspired for a seat at IIT. In retrospect, he is happy he didn't get through. His mother brought home an application form for a degree in design at Wigan & Leigh College and his journey into the world of fashion began.
