andita Mahtani's collection opened with dresses in psychedelic patterns and lots of prints.
There were all kinds of dresses. Minis. See-through resort wear with bikini innerwear. Longer, tunic-like dresses and some with off-shoulder necklines. Roman-style silhouettes in off-white teamed with big disc-earrings.
And gold-coloured dresses in varying lengths. Also, elements like colourful mirror-work on necklines as well as sashes. And a lot of chunky neck pieces. Also, veteran model Mehr Jessia was back on the ramp.
Here, we see a little red dress with a clasp-like gold sash.
Can you wear this? Most clothes were pretty wearable, especially for the slim or at least proportionate. Also, simultaneously feminine and chic. But some bordered on tarty as opposed to sexy, naughty as opposed to wicked, thanks to too much bling and over-the-edge cuts.
