Showcased by the poolside at the Hilton Towers, Mumbai: Sunny beach wear created by Gen-Next designers Bhawna Yadav, Leena Wadhwa, Rahul Mishra, Samar Firdoz and Swapnil Shinde.

Interestingly, keeping Indian sensibilities in mind, the designers avoided showing bikinis or swimsuits. The collection was extremely wearable, even for those with larger thighs and bottoms.

Seen in the picture is model Gauhar in a cream-coloured skirt and spaghetti strap-top. Carol Gracias wears an orange bustier with a funky, printed mini-skirt. A note on the material -- it looks stunning.

Can you wear it? You bet. Don't forget that sunscreen lotion though.
