Do you often find yourself asking: who am I today?
Am I nice, or am I brassy? Do I have to wear a mask to fit in?
Designer Varun Bahl's collection addressed these questions even as he went on, literally, to make a style statment.
His collection represented the quintessential question -- is today's urban lifestyle leading to a sense of confusion within one's own head?
The models sported no accessories expect for silver or gold-coloured high heels -- and symbolic gold masks, like the one in this photograpgh, at the back of their heads.
The hairstyles, too, were minimal; the colours of the collection ranged from mud greens and beige to splashes of fuchsia pink.
Bahl also used double-layered dresses right through the collections.
Can you wear this?
The grapevine says the classic look is in; Bahl's collection was totally in synch with this fashion forecast. It was very wearable and very elegant.
The colours used were soothing to the eye.
It is clear that dressed and slightly flared knee-length skirts are here to stay.
