Rich, opulent, luxurious, feisty -- these are the words that come to mind when one thinks Rohit Bal.
And the designer pretty much kept up to his reputation with his collection, resurrecting the age-old Japanese technique of embellishing cloth known as Shibori.
He used velvet, sheer material, chiffon and silk, with colours like brown, indigo, red and gold.
Here, we see a gold long sleeved choli-top teamed with a chocolate brown flare skirt embellished with gold motifs that seemed to just bounce along. Also, notice the leather choker-like accessory around the neck with coloured stones that ran right through the collection.
Can you wear this? The skirt looks rather grand and would make an impression on any dressy occasion. And the leather accessory is very stylish too.
