Kathakali motifs on the catwalk

Designer Manish Arora's collection was pretty much in keeping with his signature style: lots of motifs, a wide palette of colours and accessories that make a statement.

We saw capes and long jackets, empire-line dresses and short dresses with slightly puffed hemlines.

Manish is also known for his signature knee-length skirts decorated with intricate embroidery and brocade, a style which seems to 'inspire' quite a few other designers on the ramp today.

Model Carol Gracias walks tall in such a skirt with a motif inspired by Christmas time in the winter and boots which seem to resemble horse's hoofs with little wings peering out of them, from the sides.

Don't miss the eye accessories.

Can you wear this? Not sure...
