The rain has stopped. I’m listening to Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb while trying to extricate myself from the waters that have surrounded my car.

The car in question is happily burbling away at 15 kilometres per hour despite the water having covered the exhaust pipe. A huge wave created by a passing bus actually covers the roof of the car and makes it float momentarily. Then, we make it to higher ground and the car effortlessly pulls through.

I tip my invisible hat to Hyundai and say Viva to the CRDIi!
