Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are fashion names that need no introduction.

Legendary for their perfect chikankari worked whites enhanced by tasteful jewellery, Abu and Sandeep have a national and international clientele list that reads like the Who's Who.

It was a first to see Abu-Sandeep (also the name of the label for their diffusion line) at Lakme India Fashion Week 2005. They are also the founding members of the LIFW. "Everyone kept forcing us to join," says Sandeep, the more vocal of the two.

Called the Lotus Pond Collection, White by Abu-Sandeep was a womenswear line of long coats, flowy robes, cholis and skirts, sherwanis and eveningwear.

The fabrics: silk, chamois, georgettes and organza.

The colour: White. But of course.

The jewellery was Gothic-inspired, by Niharika Khan.

The collection is priced upwards of Rs 30,000.
