Work while you decide on your ultimate career goal
Nimesh Acharya, a B Com student, works at a Barista Coffee Shop.
"I used to work full-time earlier at the same place, but realised I could not devote equal attention to my job and my studies," he says.
"Today, I work from 10 am to 2 pm, get enough time to study and have a social life.
"I may or may not continue with my job after I graduate. If I do, my added educational qualifications would definitely add to my job profile."
Many coffee shops and pizza joints do employ part-timers.
But, surprisingly, most lifestyle and special outlets like pubs, discotheques, sports bars, book and music stores, even ice cream parlours, prefer full-time employees.
