Padma Shri for India's 'golden voice'
One of India's most popular announcers was honoured with the prestigious civilian award Padma Shri in recognition of his contribution to the broadcasting industry.
The Indian government announced the award to Ameen Sayani during the country's Republic Day celebrations.
