Singh is Kinng, Golmaal Returns and Jannat fall in the A1 category, which means that the films were hits, but some distributors lost money.
Akshay Kumar's Singh is King became a hit in India and abroad, but not all its distributors earned profits. Diwali release Golmaal Returns had a phenomenal start, and was a bigger hit than its first part, Golmaal.
Emraan Hashmi's Jannat was a medium budget film, and did good business. One of the biggest highlights was its hit music. Secondly, the film had a novel story on cricket match-fixing, not seen before on the big screen.
