The platform will be shared by Anup Kurian's directorial debut, Manasarovar, starring Atul Kulkarni and Neha Dubey.

The 32-year-old FTII graduate, who wrote the film's script in just two months, says, "I selected Atul because I needed someone with rural Indian roots. And Neha is just his opposite. While he comes from rural Maharashtra, she comes from Delhi."

Manasarovar won the Gollapudi Srinivas National Award -- the jury of which is headed by Kamal Haasan -- and beat such films in the debutant director category as Kal Ho Naa Ho, Munnabhai MBBS and Haasil.

It also won the Aravindan Puraskaram, whose jury headed by filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan.

The film is made on a shoestring budget. "We bought the camera from Ebay, and sold it right after we finished shooting!" says Kurian.

The music is scored by Irish band Random, with David Prahl, Lisa Stanislawski and Craig Leiniger composing the background music.

The film will premiere on October 31 in London. Kurian hopes for a December release in India.
