Shilpa Shetty will play a role light years away from her usually full of jhatkas roles in Revathy's Phir Milenge.

The film, co-starring Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, has traces of Philadelphia (Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington and Antonio Banderas).

While Revathy has been secretive about the story, Shilpa lets News Editor (Entertainment) Syed Firdaus Ashraf in on some details:

I didn't know the difference between HIV positive and AIDS before I signed Phir Milenge. After doing it, I realised that India has the second largest population of people infected with AIDS in the world.

It is unfortunate that even educated people -- including me -- don't know the difference between HIV positive and AIDS.

Phir Milenge is a romantic film and deals with relationships. A part of it deals with AIDS. It is not an art film. It is not preachy. It is a very positive film. It is about how a person can fight if he believes in himself. Five minutes into the film, and you will forget [that you are watching] Shilpa, Abhishek and Salman. You will not feel for the actors. You will feel for the characters.

Reportage: Syed Firdaus Ashraf
Design: Dominic Xavier
