Rahul Gandhi hits the election trail in Andhra

April 10, 2009
"If you think that the Congress is not committed to the issue pertaining to illicit money parked in the Swiss Banks then you are mistaken. Once we come to power we will initiate a probe and take the matter to its logical end." This is what Rahul Gandhi had to say at a rally in Chintal, Andhra Pradesh a small town around 40 kilometres away from Hyderabad.

Addressing a mammoth gathering of Congres supporters, the young Congress leader assured the people of the country about his party's commitment to bring back the illicit money parked in the Swiss bank.

"The BJP is harping about this issue only because it is elections. But wait and watch they will forget about it in the next 15 days. The Congress on the other hand if voted to power will make a difference and address this issue with all commitment."
