It's all hanging out. The bangles, the gaadis and the FDs. One glance at the affidavits filed by the candidates on the Election Commission's website and you would be amazed by some of the rags-to-riches stories of our legislators; some probable, some purely err... stories.
It is up to the voter to decide what to believe and what to disbelieve.
Either way, candidates are finding sworn affidavits a new way to make money work for them. Flaunting wealth is no longer taboo.
In fact, politicians, especially the young 'uns, are flashing their affidavits as a benchmark of 'honesty'.
