'Not one good politician to be found anywhere'

Mukesh Jodhani, 20

work as a diamond polisher in Lathi, Amreli district, Gujarat. I live in a village near Lathi. I go to work on my motorcycle.

I don't think India is doing well at all. It is certainly not shining as all the advertisements claim.

All our politicians are bad. There is not one good politician to be found anywhere. That is one reason I dislike politics and politicians.

The main issue is water. We need much more water for our farms and fields. Without water, how will we grow our crops. And the government needs to do much more. Amreli has been reeling without water and the farmers are suffering.

I will certainly vote in this election. Every vote counts and my vote too will count.
