Congress president Sonia Gandhi filed her nomination papers for the general election from the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday, April 6.

Her mother-in-law Indira Gandhi and father-in-law Feroze Gandhi had once represented the constituency.

Sonia with son Rahul on her right and son-in-law Robert Vadra and daughter Priyanka on her left.
