India's Interior Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram on Friday said that the government would extend all help and support to the Indian Premier League matches.
Even as Chidambaram told reporters about extending help to the league, IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi assured that there would be no matches on the day of counting of votes.
Meanwhile, chief minister of Karnataka raised concerns over providing security during the election period.
