SL Prez cuts short Nepal visit after cricket team attack

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa cut short his state visit to Nepal on Tuesday after the Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked in Pakistan.

Six members of the Sri Lankan cricket team and their British assistant coach were wounded when around a dozen gunmen attacked their bus as it drove under police escort to the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.

Rajapaksa condemned the shooting, and have asked the cricket team to return home.
