Rajneesh Gupta: Pakistan's Jalaluddin was the first bowler to claim a hat-trick in one-day internationals. He performed the feat by dismissing Australia's Rodney Marsh, Bruce Yardley and Geoff Lawson with the last three balls of his seventh over in the first of a three-match series at Hyderabad (Sind) on September 20, 1982.
