Credit for the triumph must certainly go to India's captain. Charismatic while leading the side, Dhoni added another feather to his cap by guiding the team to nine ODI wins on the trot. He has so many arrows in his quiver and looks as wise as a Solomon. He made impressive bowling changes and team selections, shuffled the batting order and field placing with much success. The most important aspect of it all was calling the right side of the coin every time he went in the middle along with his counterpart for the toss, although winning it is plain luck.

    The toss plays a vital role in that part of the world, especially in day-night games, where chasing small totals can cause concern against the spinners as they get more assistance in the evening and make the ball turn a long way. When India secured the series, Dhoni insisted on giving chances to players who warmed the benches till then, which is a good sign in building a strong team. The reserve players lived up to his expectations and contributed significantly.
