Lankans Tamed Twice... Easily

A gratifying series for Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men came to an end on a disappointing note as India lost the fifth and final ODI on a near-perfect tour of Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankans succumbed right through the series but had the last laugh by clinching the final dead rubber by 68 runs. In the process they stopped India's dream run in One-Day Internationals.

Victory finally gave the home team's supporters something to cheer about. For India it was a second series triumph over their southern neighbours in six months. Apart from couple of 'throwing-at-player' incidents, the series was played in good spirit.
