Members of the two teams -- named Hillary and Tenzing -- trekked to Gorak Shep, a plateau 5,165 metres above sea level near the Everest base camp, and played a 20-overs game on Tuesday, said Bikram Neupane, chief of Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal which provided medical backup to the team.
In the process, the two teams created world records for the Highest game of cricket ever played and the highest altitude ever recorded for a field sport.
