It turned out to be a memorable day for the 15 lucky parent-kid teams as they displayed their batting prowess in front of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar at a promotional event in Mumbai on Saturday.
While son Arjun displayed some of his inherited batting potential, Tendulkar was content just to help out the kids and have a good time while they played against their dads.
But interestingly, Tendulkar revealed that it was WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and not cricket that excited his son the most.
"We watch WWE and we end up practicing those moves. I must say I cannot underestimate his strengths," he said.
Arjun, a left-hander, delighted the small gathering with a few strokes as Tendulkar took up the umpiring chores.
The master batsmen also revealed how much the cricketers miss their family due to the busy schedule of international cricket.
