It's probably his never-say die attitude that is keeping everybody's nerves calm even as two of Indian cricket's most dependable players retired during the Test series against Australia.
Anil Kumble retired after the third Test in Delhi, while Sourav Ganguly called it a day after the fourth and final Test, but India under Dhoni's astute leadership still managed to outclass Australia 2-0.
