Tendulkar's tips for female cricketer

'Concentrate on the game,' was Sachin Tendulkar's advise to Anju Tomar, a female cricketer.

The veteran batsman is currently holidaying with his family in Mussoorie after a gruelling three-month long tour of Australia.

Tomar said Tendulkar's tips were more on attitude rather than the intricacies of the game itself.

"I asked him about cricket. I told him that I am an all-rounder and asked how to become a good cricketer. He advised me to concentrate on the game and avoid any other trivial issues. He also said there's no politics involved in the game. And a good player always succeeds in achieving his or her dream," she said.
