The team management's decision to go to a public resort came as a surprise to many, but, apparently, the idea was to relax, which they did despite the usual autograph hunters.
"But no one really bothered or hassled them. The people were just happy to see them really enjoying themselves and they were all very polite and friendly," an eye witness said.

As expected, security for the Indian players at the resort was tight but not abrasive.
India play back to back matches on Wednesday and Thursday against Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively.
