Opener Malinda Warnapura scored an unbeaten 110 to guide Sri Lanka to a commanding 205 for two at lunch on the second day of the first Test against India on Thursday.

Warnapura's second Test hundred spanned 194 balls and included 14 boundaries. The left-hander shared an unbroken 148-run partnership with captain Mahela Jayawardene for the third wicket.
