India vs Sri Lanka, SSC Test, Day One

India's Ishant Sharma (centre) celebrates with teammates the dismissal of Sri Lankan opener Michael Vandort on the first day of the opening Test match between the two countries at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Ground in Colombo on Wednesday.
Sharma got rid of Vandort with a rising outgoing delivery, getting the left-handed batsman on the front foot and managing to get the edge to Dinesh Karthik behind the stumps.

Ishant's wicket reduce Sri Lanka to seven for one after the home team had won the toss and elected to bat.
The Delhi speedster was by far the most impressive of India bowlers, with figures of one for 21 off seven overs.
