Sometimes he himself is responsible for being in the news for all the wrong reasons. On the other occasions, it's just his sheer bad luck that seems to land him in trouble.
He may have been completely innocent in the Symonds episode, but the fact can't be denied that he has a big attitude problem.
Soon after he made his ODI debut against New Zealand in Sharjah in 1998 he was involved in some controversies, thanks to his "questionable onfield behaviour", and had to sit out for the subsequent one-day series against Bangladesh and Kenya at home.
