IPL auction a nice game: Shah Rukh

Kolkata franchise owner and Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan said he had a great time at the Indian Premier League players' auction held in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Describing the auction as "a nice to game to play", Shah Rukh said :"I have never been to an auction before, this was the first for me and I have got addicted to it."

India's newest pace sensation Ishant Sharma was purchased by Shahrukh's Kolkata outfit for US $ 9,50,000, which was the second highest amount paid to an Indian player at the auction.

The Bollywood star also bought purchased Australia captain Ricky Ponting, Shoaib Akhtar, Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum among 11 other players.
