India vs Sri Lanka, 5th ODI
February 12, 2008
Indian cricket fans wait in the stands as rain delayed the start of the fifth one-day international of the CB tri-series between India and Sri Lanka at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Tuesday.
The start of the match was delayed for more than three and a half hours because of heavy morning showers reducing the game to 29-overs-a-side.
India posted a daunting total of 195 for five from 29 overs courtesy of a fluent 70 from young Rohit Sharma. However, further rain at the end of the Indian innings saw Sri Lanka being set a revised target of 154 in 21 overs.
