Red Skins bowl Bangalore over

April 24, 2008

Barbara points out that she found the game a bit slow. "We are used to American football, which is so physical. This game is so much more peaceful and, yeah, we are beginning to enjoy it."

The Red Skins have become household names and they are slowly but surely building a fan-following, at least in this part of the country. The girls say that they feel they are a part of Bangalore now. "People have started recognizing us on the roads and it sure is a great feeling."

  • Although they speak and are trying to understand the game so hard, one cannot deny the fact that it is the Indian crowd that is driving them crazy. Jenny says the crowd is so passionate and completely into us. "They love everything that we do. The fans are the real power behind the game and it is they who make the game what it is in India."

Klovher chips in: "We get such a loud applause when we are on the field. The crowd has always been great and has always given us a feeling that we are part of them. The louder they are the better it is and it only drives us to do better and put up a great show."
