The Clubhouse at the Chinnaswamy stadium has never been this packed before. Sitting with a mug of beer one gets a preview of the Red Skins show as they practice on the lawns.
Klohver Tynes, Jenny Zaleski, Barbra Bush, Shannon Hickey and Sharica Brown, along with their director, Donald Wells, took time off their hectic schedule, shared with rediff.com their experiences about the crowd, and also cricket, the game we call religion here!

Sharica Brown, who is part of the 12-member squad that's come to India, says they had never seen a game of cricket before coming to the country. "During the inaugural game we did not even have a clue as to what was going on, as the game was very new to us. However, we did not find it difficult as the crowd was there to help us. Yes, we were very disappointed when our team lost, but, hey, we fought right back in the second game," she said.
Shannon gets up from her seat and displays a few signs. "Are these correct? Isn't this what they do when a player hits a four or six?"
She has mastered the signs. "It is very simple," says Shannon. "We understand the game perfectly now. It is so close to baseball. But, hey, how do these guys catch the ball with their bare hands. It must be so difficult."
