Twenty20: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh
September 18, 2007
Bangladesh bowlers kept
Sri Lanka on a tight lease and restricted them to a modest 147
for five, giving themselves a good chance in their second
Super Eights encounter of the Twenty20 World Cup in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
The explosive Sri Lankan batsmen never got a chance to
open up in the face of some disciplined and accurate bowling
by Bangladesh.
Skipper Mahela Jayawerdena (in pic) scored 30 off 30 balls while Jehan Mubarak and (31 not out) Tillekaratne Dilshan
(21 not out) scored some quick runs towards the end.
