The launch of the BCCI's Twenty20 Indian Premier League and the Champions Twenty20 League in New Delhi on Friday was Rahul Dravid last public appearance as India captain.
A day after vouching his support for the proposed tournaments, Dravid shocked everyone with his announcement to stand down as captain of the team with immediate effect.
