Sehwag is likely to lead Team India in the first ODI on May 10 in case regular captain Dravid, who sustained a nose injury during the conditioning camp, is not cleared to play.
Sehwag, who had a prolonged slump in form, has been named only in the ODI squad for the Bangladesh series. He will be looking to repay the faith of the selectors, in what could probably be his last chance to impress, with a good showing in the three one-dayers.
