India eased to a seven-wicket victory over England at Trent Bridge on Tuesday to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
The tourists, resuming on 10 without loss, reached the victory target of 73 for the loss of Dinesh Karthik, Wasim Jaffer and Sachin Tendulkar in the morning session on the fifth and final day.
The first Test at Lord's was drawn, as rain and bad light prevented England from claiming the last Indian wicket.
