India vs Pakistan, 3rd Test, Day 5
December 12, 2007
Ganguly was unlucky to miss another century. The former India captain, who scored 239 in India's first innings of 626, was
undeterred by the
short deliveries sent down by the Pakistanis pacers and scored a fine 91, completing 1000 runs in 2007.
He fell three balls after Dravid's dismissal, caught at gully off Sami for 91. The left-hander, who hit 12 boundaries and one
six in 134 deliveries, ended the series with productive returns of 534 runs at an average of 89 including a double century,
century and a half-century.
