Pakistan paceman Mohammad Sami, who was let off early when Rahul Dravid at slip failed to pouch an offering after he drove wildly at leg spinner Anil Kumble, settled down thereafter and used his full reach to counter the spinners and played short-pitched balls from paceman Zaheer Khan with confidence.

India ended Day 4 in the second Test at the Eden Gardens on 141 for 2, an overall lead of 301 runs.
