India vs England, 1st ODI

Bolstered by maiden one-day international centuries for Alastair Cook (left) and Ian Bell (126 not out), England accelerated after a pedestrian start on an overcast day to reach 288 for two in their 50 overs.
England beat India by 104 runs as the Indian innings collapsed at 184 runs in the first ODI at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Tuesday.
