The Champions Trophy may have been a disappointment for India, but captain Rahul Dravid has something to look forward to when he arrives in Mumbai for the ICC annual awards on Friday, November 3.

Dravid has been nominated for the Captain of the Year award, thanks to India enjoying a great run in limited-overs cricket before the Caribbean sojourn.

The only other Indian to make it to the short list is Yuvraj Singh.

The left-handed batsman is in contention after three back-to-back man of the series awards -- against Sri Lanka, Pakistan and England. But he faces stiff competition from Mahela Jayawardene, Ricky Ponting and the breakthrough performer of the year, Michael Hussey.
