'Sachin has easily another 5 to 6 years of cricket left in him'

Ramji Srinivasan, a wellknown fitness trainer in Chennai, began his career training children at Ramanathan and Ramesh Krishnan's tennis academy. He moved on to the MRF Pace Foundation and has been training cricketers for the last nine years.

In his first year at MRF, he trained at the Australian Cricket Academy and the Australian Institute of Sports. Every year, the MRF Foundation sends him to Australia to update himself on training techniques. He is also with the A1 Formula Racing team training Karun Chandhok and Armaan Ebrahim.

'Sachin will be fine'

Last week, he took care of Sachin Tendulkar's training along with former India physio Andrew Leipus. The master batsman is recovering from shoulder surgery and is training hard to be fit for the Indian team's Test tour of the West Indies.

Ramji Srinivasan spoke to Shobha Warrier and explained how Tendulkar trained in Chennai.
