Six jewels from Dravid
180 vs Australia, Kolkata, 2001
Comeback wins don't get better than this.
With India's back pushed to the wall, Dravid and VVS Laxman gave defiance memorable names.
After being bowled out for 171 in the first innings, India were 232 for four, effectively 42 runs still short of Australia's first innings total, when Dravid came out to bat.
India batted out the fourth day with a 376-run partnership between Laxman and Dravid. Though Dravid's 180 was largely overshadowed by Laxman's epic innings, it remains one of the finest knocks by an Indian batsman.
India had to declare their innings on 657 for seven and went on to bowl Australia for 212 in less than a day.
