Six jewels from Dravid

For most, playing Test cricket is a destination. For a select few it is only the start of the journey, where in pursuit they achieve greatness.

That's something Rahul Dravid set out to achieve. He did not want to be a mere figure in the list of Indian Test cricketers, but set a pedestal for himself.

In his journey of 99 matches he has scored 8492 runs, 22 hundreds and 41 fifties. The earnestness to win for India remains as he closes on to the milestone of 100 Tests.

On the occasion of Dravid reaching the landmark, rediff.com takes a look at his six best innings.
