India vs England, 1st Test
England opening batsman Alastair Cook runs down the ball for four on the opening day of the first Test against India, at the Vidarbha Cricket Association ground in Nagpur on Wednesday.
The visitors, electing to bat, started cautiously, but wilted under pressure to end the first day on 246 for seven.
Cook, making his debut for England, scripted a composed knock of 60 from 161 deliveries, absorbing the aggression from the Indian bowlers despite losing wickets regularly at the other end.
