India's Yuvraj Singh had Pakistan opener Salman Butt run-out with a direct hit.

Butt's wicket, on 12 in the third over of the morning, was India's only success in the first session, as Pakistan cruised to 110 for 1 at lunch.

India, put in to field, selected former captain Sourav Ganguly in the playing eleven for the opening Test, which began at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore on Friday.

Younis Khan scored his 10th test hundred on Friday to help Pakistan to an imposing 326 for two at the close of the opening day.
