India delivered the final knock-out blow on Pakistan as they crushed the hosts by eight wickets in the fifth and final one-day international in Karachi on Monday to complete a 4-1 series victory.

Yuvraj Singh scored a brilliant 107 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni played an unbelievable innings of 77 to guide India to victory, their fourth in a row after losing the Karachi Test and the first one-dayer.

It was India's 13th consecutive successful run-chase and the 12th in their last 16 matches.

While the Indian team revelled in their moment of glory, their fans who travelled across the border had a party in the stands, courtesy the rain of boundaries and sixes from Dhoni and Yuvraj.
