Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya walks back to the pavillion after being dismissed for six, caught by man of the series Andrew Symonds off Nathan Bracken's bowling.
Sri Lankan captain Marvan Atapattu won the toss and chose to bat in the third and deciding tri-series limited overs final against Australia at the Gabba on Tuesday.
Australia won the match comprehensively by nine wickets and also the series 2-1. The first final was won by Sri Lanka and the second by Australia.
