Pakistan's Faisal Iqbal, who scored a maiden Test century on Monday, went on to slam 139 runs in the second innings.
Pakistan declared their second innings closed on 599 for seven shortly before lunch on the fourth day of the third and final Test against India on Wednesday.
With a little over five sessions remaining, India were set a victory target of 607.
